All-State Music

The All-State music for the 2009-2010 school year has just been released. Visit www.tmea.org and click "Band Etudes and Books" under "2009-2010 All-State" on the main page.

Students will receive detailed instruction on these three etudes during their 2:00-4:00 PM sectionals the first 2 weeks of August from a specialist on their instrument. It is a requirement for students in Honors Band and Symphonic Band I to audition for the All-Region Band in early December. Also, all students will be tested on these three etudes throughout the semester and at the end of the semester for their Spring 2010 band placements.
