Renew Your MISD Volunteer Application Today

All non-MISD employees who wish to volunteer for the Bronco Band must submit a new volunteer application with the MISD. The sooner you register, the better as the Central Office is receiving a tidal wave of applications.

Please allow for at least two weeks to process your application (even if you were approved for last year). Once you have received approval, please forward the e-mail to Denise Weinert, Volunteer Coordinator.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this critical start-of-the-year task.

Bus Chaperones & Helpers for North game, Friday 8/29 - update

Looks like we are in great shape for Friday night. Thanks to everyone who replied to my email today. For home games, the buses will be leaving at 5:45 pm. Chaperones riding the bus should arrive between 5:15 & 5:30 pm. Even if you can't ride the bus, but can help at the game, just let me know.

A couple of side notes: For all parents that purchased shirts, those will be available to pick up at the Band Booster meeting Thursday evening. Sign-up sheets will also be available for bus chaperones and other areas where we can use volunteer help.

Pit Crew Training

Calling all Pit Dads, Moms, and anyone else who is interested in helping move our sideline equipment!

We will be meeting tomorrow (Thursday, August 28th) at 6:15 PM on the practice field to get oriented with all of our equipment. We will cover a range of items from how to move the instruments to how to setup our state-of-the-art sound system.

Also, don't forget to attend the Band Parent Meeting at 7:30 the same evening.

See you there!

Hospitality Volunteers Needed

If you have applied for (and received) volunteer status and would like to help with feeding the students on game days (right after school starting at 4:30pm), please contact Susan Cameron as soon as possible as our first game is only two days away.

Photo Release Form

All students need to turn in photo release forms (if you did not fill one out at Registration). The form is here. Without this form, your photos cannot be posted on the band website.

If you do not choose to sign the release, you should send an email to that effect to Mr. Nuñez so that he can inform the Booster photography team and the Webmaster.

Do Not Pick Up Students Behind School

Please DO NOT pick up your students behind the school after marching rehearsal.

Please wait in the south parking lot (near the Auditorium) and have your student walk to meet you.

Traffic is becoming a safety issue. If you do not have a pre-approved medical reason to pick your child up behind the school, please help us with parking in the south lot.

Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program
